Special Operations Training Centre
Nitor's sister company, AIS Ltd in the UK, developed a comprehensive master plan design for a Special Operations Training Centre, to be built in the Middle East.
AIS carried out a detailed analysis with the client to determine the training requirements for this multi-role training facility.
Customer requirements
The customer required a state-of-the-art master plan design for a live-fire urban and counter terrorist training centre, including life-cycle operation and maintenance.
The AIS solution
As a key member of a world-class total solution project team, AIS validated the client's specific training needs and requirements. AIS developed an integrated solution based upon three centres providing the following training activities:
- Urban Operations and Close Quarters Battle
- Maritime counter terrorism
- Marksmanship and live-fire tactical training
The design also provided individual components to support training for counter terrorism, internal security, peacekeeping operations, joint operations and NBC warfare.
