PRISim® Duelling systems

Nitor's sister company, AIS Ltd in the UK, provided two laser-fire PRISim simulators with duelling for a new Simulation Training Centre for a police force in the United Kingdom.

Customer requirements

To upgrade an existing facility to include a state-of-the-art simulation training centre.

The AIS solution

Two laser-fire PRISim simulators—with the real-time duelling option—were supplied to the client. The duelling option gives trainers the opportunity to observe an officer's behaviour, as the officer faces a dynamic situation constructed through roleplay.

Each simulator was supplied with an Advanced Interactive Systems patented ShootBack cannon. AIS installed and commissioned the complete system, and then gave operational training to the police.

AIS also supplied a re-configurable non-ballistic partition system, enabling the police to set up a multi-role tactical environment.
